
AHMAD NADZRI MOHAMAD (PhD)

Ahmad Nadzri Mohamad is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Information Science, Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), Malaysia. He was formerly the Head of Marketing & Information Development Unit, Siti Hasmah Digital Library, Multimedia University (MMU). He completed his master's degree under the young lecturer scheme scholarship from UiTM in 2011. He became the Head of Programme for Bachelor of Information Science, Resource Centre Management in 2016-2017. In 2019, he received a full PhD scholarship from the New Zealand Government through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Trade (MFAT). He completed his doctoral thesis at the School of Information Management, Victoria University of Wellington. His areas of interest are in Library and Information Science, mainly in open data, open government data, and bibliometric mapping. He is a reviewer at several esteemed journals such as Foresight, Transforming Government: People, Process and Policy, Online Information Review and the Journal of Librarianship & Information Science. He is also a managing editor at the International Journal of Information, Diversity, and Inclusion based at the University of Toronto, Canada. He was a standing committee member for library services to special groups, Librarians Association of Malaysia (PPM). In his free time, he does running, swimming, videography, and photography. He is a self-taught pianist with a passion for travelling. His greatest achievement is when his learners succeed in their careers, and his passion is to inspire such success for generations to come.
